What an endocrinology expert witness is asked to determine
Endocrine claims usually rest on biochemistry read alongside symptoms. The question is often whether an abnormal result was recognised, repeated and acted upon, and whether treatment was titrated and monitored as the results required. Reference ranges and assay methods differ between laboratories and change over time, so the report should identify the range applied to the result under scrutiny.

- Whether an abnormal result was identified, repeated where necessary and acted upon.
- Whether hormone replacement or suppression was titrated and monitored appropriately.
