The register

What expertsearch is

expertsearch is a published register of practitioners who advertise their listings. It publishes information rather than recommendations. Solicitors instruct a practitioner directly; scope, availability and fees are agreed with that practitioner.

The register is not an agency or an intermediary. It does not operate a panel, assess a proposed instruction or become part of the work.

How the site is written

The site distinguishes between the legal systems of England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Where procedure differs, the relevant nation page carries the detail rather than a generic UK-wide formulation. The site does not publish assertions about a listed practitioner’s availability, performance or case outcomes.

Published details

Listings describe the practitioner’s advertised discipline and sub-specialty.

Accurate jurisdiction

England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland are stated as separate systems where that distinction matters.

No performance claims

The register does not make claims about outcomes, capacity or suitability for a particular instruction.
